11 December 2009 Parkside Commons Apartments rewarded Silver LEED certification

Parkside Commons Apartments, located north of the centre of Boston in the city of Chelsea, has been recently awarded Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification by the United States Green Building Counsil (USGBC), for its eco- friendly construction and maintenance practices. In building Parkside Commons, energy-efficient construction and eco-friendly materials were used. Also in establishing the inside and outside spaces of the property, environment saving solutions were used. The 238 rental apartments were developed in 2007 together with John M. Corcoran and Company. In the investment policy of IBUS, sustainability is a key word. IBUS is therefore very proud of this acknowledgement by the USGBC.
